In the early hours of Sunday 17th June, Fathers Day 2024, 25 amazing individuals embarked on the challenge to reach Snowdon's summit at sunrise to raise vital funds for The Lily Mae Foundation.
Our team of hikers was comprised of grieving parents and family friends who were participating to honour the memory of their baby and raise funds to help future families through the devastating loss of a baby
Starting at 1:30am, the team was motivated by shared purpose and value. Despite the cold nights and steep slopes, spirits remained high.
When we reached the summit, we were greeted by a spectacular sunrise that painted the sky and made the whole challenge so worthwhile!
The Snowdon at Sunrise Challenge is more than just a physical challenge; it was a journey of honour and remembrance for all who took part!
Through their tremendous efforts, our amazing team managed to raise over £15,000.00!!! For the Lily Mae Foundation, allowing us to continue to provide critical and much-needed support and resources to families grieving after the devastating loss of a baby.
