Legacy Giving: A Gift In Your Will
A gift in your Will to The Lily Mae Foundation will help us to continue to provide vital support to
bereaved parents and families, training to health and social care professionals and research into and
the prevention of baby loss.
There are three main types of gift which you can leave to us in your Will:-
Pecuniary– a fixed sum of money (for example £500 or £1,000 etc.)
Residuary – a percentage share of your estate (for example 10% or 1/5th of your
estate) after payment of funeral expenses, debts and other gifts in your Will.
Specific – an item such as jewellery, shares, or even a property etc.
To make a Will, or to update an existing one, to include a gift to The Lily Mae Foundation, simply
contact your solicitor or our legal partners, Irwin Mitchell LLP and provide them with our full details
(set out below) and let them know the type of gift that you would like to leave to us.
Irwin Mitchell are kindly offering a 15% discount to our supporters who use them to write a Will. To
make the necessary appointment, please email Irwin Mitchell at: Wills.Inbox@IrwinMitchell.com with
your contact details and quote ‘The Lily Mae Foundation’ in your email to claim your 15% discount.
Whilst we cannot provide legal advice your solicitor and Irwin Mitchell should be able to assist in
preparing your Will and answering any legal questions you may have.
Thank you for choosing to remember the work of The Lily Mae Foundation in this very special way.
