Baby Loss Awareness Week, October 9th - 15th 2025 is a time for bereaved parents and families from all over the world to commemorate the lives of their babies and share the memories of their angels that were taken too soon. This week allows baby loss communities to come together to raise awareness, provide support and remember.

There are plenty of ways you can get involved with BLAW this year, from candle light services, your local wave of light to memorial walks or perhaps your own personal way of honouring your baby during this week.

Social Media Assets

Honour your baby by using our social media templates. We’ve created a collection of personalised social media assets for Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW). These resources are designed to help you raise awareness, share your story and honour your baby’s memory.

You’ll find profile picture options and customisable story templates, ready for you to add your baby’s name into the blank space on the bear's lap. By sharing, we can come together to raise awareness and remember our babies with love.

EVENTS

The Lily Mae Foundation will be marking Baby loss Awareness Month by providing bereaved parents and families with an opportunity to decorate a pebble at St. Mary’s Church, Temple Balsall. These pebbles can be decorated and placed under the tree of remembrance.
The Lily Mae Foundation Wave of Light Service: St Mary's Church, Temple Balsall, B93 0AN - Wednesday 15th October 2025. Arrival from 6:30pm to be seated by 6.45pm with the lighting of candles to start at 7pm.
University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire: Sessions for reflection: Wednesday 15th October 2025 at 10am - 12:30pm or 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Faith Centre, Ground Floor UHCW.
Worcester Hospital Service: Saturday 11th October 2025 at 2pm - 3:30pm. This service takes place at St Peter’s Baptist Church, Worcester WR5 3TZ.
University Hospitals Birmingham Service: Held on Sunday 12th October 2025 at 2pm. If you would like to attend, please contact the Bereavement Team on 0121 424 2088. This is not essential, you are welcome to just turn up. Location: St Barnabas Church Centre, B23 6SY.
Birmingham Women’s Hospital Service: Sunday 12th October 2025 at 3pm. The service takes place at St Peter's Church, Harborne, B17 0BB.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust Service: Sunday 12th October 2025 at 3pm. This service takes place at Pelsall Community & Arts Centre WS3 4BQ.
Coventry Cathedral Baby Loss Remembrance Service: Sunday 12th October 2025 at 2pm.
Wolverhampton Hospital Service: Sunday 19th October 2025 at 2:30pm. The service takes place at St Patrick's Church (next to New Cross Hospital).

BUILDINGS LIT UP FOR BLAW 2025
