Malvern End to End Challenge 2024

The best hiking trails in the Malvern Hills explore the main ridge and gentle slopes. Made up of fifteen distinct summits, there are many route permutations, whilst energetic hikers will plan to tackle the ridge in one go.

As a charity we have 30 spaces for you to walk in memory of your baby along the Malvern ridge, organised with Sky Blue Adventures. See if your family, friends or work colleagues would like to take part with you on this fantastic new challenge for 2024.🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

CHALLENGE DETAILS

Distance: 18 miles / 29.3km

Ascent: 6400 feet / 1956m

Grade: Medium / Hard

Start Time: 8am Duration of walk: 10-12 hours

Start & Finish Location: North Quarry Car Park (Small charge)

The Lily Mae Foundation requirements:

To take part in this fundraising activity, all we ask is for you to raise a minimum of £150pp by setting up a fundraising page. This covers the costs incurred by The Lily Mae Foundation for your place and also raises extra funds to support bereaved parents and families who have suffered the devastating loss of a baby. You will be required to complete an electronic contract with The Lily Mae Foundation prior to your place being secured.

• Rucksack - about 35 litres
• Boots (with ankle support and soles which will grip on rock, grass and mud)
• Waterproof jacket (with hood)
• Waterproof over trousers
• General trekking trousers (not jeans or cotton material)
• Fleece top
• Spare layer e.g. fleece top
• Food & Drink
• First Aid Kit (small)
• Mobile phone
• Sunhat
• Sun cream
• Sunglasses
