A Heartfelt Thank You for an Incredible Day at the London Landmarks Half Marathon🤍
On Sunday 6th April 2025, 20 amazing individuals participated in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, running in support of The Lily Mae Foundation.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved, each and every runner, their families and friends who came to cheer them on and the generous sponsors who supported our runners through the day.
It was really a special day to be a part of as we stood cheering on every runner. Some were running in memory of their precious babies, others in honour of the babies of their families, and many simply to raise awareness and funds for the work we do.
We asked one of our runners, Kat Philpott a few questions about the day:
Why did you take part in the LLHM for The Lily Mae Foundation?
"I took part in memory of my daughter Milly Florence who was Stillborn in 2014, I also wanted to give back to The Foundation for their continued support on what was a very tough journey to having 2 living children. Without the support of The Foundation over the years I would have felt very lost and alone."
What was the day like?
"The day was absolutely incredible, the atmosphere kept me going. It made all the months of training so worth it. I would love to take part again."
Thanks to the fantastic dedication of everyone involved in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025, a truly incredible total of £13,810.87 was raised. Without your support we couldn’t continue to provide the vital support services bereaved parents need to access following the devastating loss of a baby. These funds will go directly toward supporting our essential support services, including Memory Boxes, our One-to-One Baby loss Support Service & our Sibling Support Days.
So again, a huge THANK YOU to all involved in another great event.
