THE LILY MAE FOUNDATION RECEIVES £64,000 FROM GLOBAL’S MAKE SOME NOISE 🎉

Global’s Make Some Noise - the official charity of Global, the Media Entertainment

group - today announced grants totalling over £2.6 million for life changing projects in local communities across the UK. The funding provides a vital lifeline in communities – with the charities continued vision that nobody in the UK should face life’s toughest challenges alone, tackling issues such as mental health, poverty and homelessness.

We are incredibly fortunate enough to be one of the Charities Global is supporting this year and we have received an unbelievable grant of £64,000.00!

This money will support the work we do at the Lily Mae Foundation in more ways than we can even imagine! Global's grant focuses on our Support for Dads.

1-2-1 Babyloss Support Service

The service is fully supported by a trained Counsellor from CRUSE Bereavement Care.

Having Ryan and Matt in the Team ensures that bereaved Dad’s are able to access a specialised bereavement support service and are able to speak with trained male bereavement support workers.

Still Parents Podcast

A candid podcast. How do Dad’s tackle the train wreck of baby loss? We talk all things baby loss from a male's perspective, showing men it is OK not to be OK.

Dads and Grandads Support Group

We organise bi-monthly activities that have included Escape Rooms, Urban Golf or a Curry Night to allow Dad’s to feel supported in a group setting with other bereaved Dad’s #strongertogether.

Suzanne Ryder-Richardson, Director of Global Goodness at Global, said: “It’s becoming

increasingly hard for small charities to meet the rising demand for their services whilst

struggling with higher bills. They are delivering vital projects which are a lifeline for so many. We’re thrilled that thanks to the generosity of the Global audiences and our partners we are able to help those charities, who are at the centre of communities right across the UK. But there are still so many of these amazing projects who are finding it difficult to continue, with some having to turn people away when they are reaching out for a lifeline. We will continue our work to raise funds and awareness to help preserve these essential community resources.”

With Global's support we can continue to offer and excel in our support for bereaved parents following the devastating loss of a baby to Stillbirth, Neonatal Loss, Medical Termination & Miscarriage. 👼🤍
