Memory Boxes

Memory Boxes
are our priority

When people think about the loss of a baby, they think of the loss of a tiny life. Baby loss however is so much more. It's the loss of an entire lifetime, a lifetime of plans, of memories,
of hopes and dreams...

"When we left the hospital following the birth of Lily Mae we left
with nothing but a broken heart and our small, but precious memories.
That is why we have chosen to fund Memory Boxes as our priority."

Gaining charity status has enabled us to set out our aims and objectives for the future but more importantly it has allowed us
to determine exactly what the money we raise is used for.  Since our inception we have provided hundreds of Memory Boxes to:

  • Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham
  • Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield
  • Birmingham Women’s Hospital
  • Birmingham Children's Hospital
  • Walsall Manor Hospital
  • University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire
  • George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton
  • Warwick Hospital, Warwickshire
  • City Hospital, Birmingham
  • New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton
  • Princess Royal Hospital, Shrewsbury and Telford
  • Worcestershire Royal Hospital
  • Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley
  • Hereford County Hospital
  • The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, Northern Ireland
  • Daisy Hill Hospital, Northern Ireland

These Memory boxes provide much needed support for bereaved parents. They allow the parents to collect memories and
precious items and store them.  As a parent you want to protect your child; when you lose a child, you want and need to
protect their memory.

By providing parents with a starting point and ideas we will hopefully make the hard task of memory making that bit easier
and give them something beautiful to look back on and remember their child by. Seeing Lily’s memory box recently made me think of how important the memory box is but also made me realise that I wanted her short life to be more than just a memory box, I wanted it to be a lasting legacy to both her and other angel babies, for this I want her name to live on in both our
charity work and through the support we provide to parents.

Thank you once again for supporting us, without you we would not be able to make Lily’s legacy live on.
