This unique and first of its kind service, offered by The Lily Mae Foundation and
supported by CRUSE Bereavement Care, provides you with an opportunity to fully explore any bereavement issues you have following the loss of your precious baby. The service is run from The Lily Mae Foundation Office.
Our specialist Babyloss Support Service is delivered by Amy and Ryan Jackson,
the Founders of The Lily Mae Foundation and parents to Lily Mae, who was
stillborn at 37 weeks in February 2010.
Both Amy and Ryan are trained Cruse Volunteers, Amy completing the Cruse Awareness in Bereavement Care training programme in July 2016 and Ryan more recently in February 2021. The service is fully supported by a trained Counsellor from Cruse Bereavement Care.
Ryan understands that sometimes men feel more comfortable talking to another male. To ensure that Fathers have an option as to whom they would like to talk to, this is why he has trained as a CRUSE Volunteer.
