A New Chapter for The ‘Still Parents’ Podcast

A New Chapter for The ‘Still Parents’ Podcast

With Series 1 of The Still Parents Podcast starting during lockdown in November 2020 we would not have envisaged now finishing Series 3. We have seen the Still Parents Podcast grow in its popularity and success both nationally and internationally.

A project created by Charity Founder Ryan Jackson, Charity Trustee Matt Whitehouse, and Radio Host Dan Kelly, unites men who are bereaved following the loss of a baby to Stillbirth, Neonatal Death, Miscarriage or Medical Termination. Their main focus is to provide a platform and a voice for men who are suffering in silence from grief and to break the stigmas society holds around Baby loss and Male Mental Health.

Since its inception, we have seen the podcast do exactly that. Reaching listeners all around the globe, even as far as America; providing fellow grieving parents with a platform of support at a time when it is most needed.

We have had some incredible guests join us on our journey so far, from all walks of life and areas of the country. From Professional Footballer Joe Riley to Irelands Multi Marathon Runner Ian Lawton, all the men who have joined us to discuss their own experiences and journeys of Baby loss have contributed to the growth of such a needed support platform for bereaved men.

As Still Parents continues to grow, we are now excited to be starting a new chapter securing a new home for the successful Podcast.

Following our collaboration with Make Good Grow, The Still Parents podcast will now be hosted and produced in the incredible studio facilities of 1 Mill Street, Leamington Spa.

Join us in January 2022 for Series 4, as we continue to challenge and address societal expectations of men following the loss of a baby by encouraging men to talk more!
